RO-GR, affectionately nicknamed "Roger," is a repurposed Battle Droid from the animated LEGO Star Wars series, The Freemaker Adventures. He first appears in the first episode, "A Hero Awakens," originally airing in 2016.
Originally programmed for the Separatist Droid Army, Roger underwent modifications and repairs by Rowan Freemaker. This process inadvertently gave him a unique personality and removed his combat programming. He became an integral member of the Freemaker family.
Serving as the family's mechanic and pilot, Roger often provides comedic relief with his quirks and unusual interpretations of situations. Despite his past as a Battle Droid, he embraces his new role and displays a surprising capacity for loyalty and friendship towards the Freemakers.
